This seemed to be far fetched and some even laughed at the very thought of Google Android ever beating iPhone OS in the smart phone market but the reports of smart phone sales in the first quarter of 2010 reveal otherwise: Android based smart phones have outsold iPhone OS based iDevices combined.
Google mail users in UK will now be able to convert their @googlemail.com accounts to @gmail.com accounts, according to the official release from Google. The move is probably aimed at unifying the Gmail brand name. For those who do not remember, Gmail actually started off as Google Mail before switching to Gmail but it did not happen in UK up until now.

Google has already announced it’s updated set of native apps for the iPad which will ship with it and now it has released a new interface for the GMail app for iPad with improved UI. The new GMail app can be accessed through Safari browser on the iPad or through the Mail app.

According to the latest reports surfacing, only those Android phones which have ARMv7 (Cortex) processors will be able to update to the yet-to-be-released Flash 10.1. The reason being that only ARMv7 based chipsets are capable enough for all the processing needed for Flash 10.1 video content on the mobile web.
