With iPhone SDK 3.2 out, there was a very significant change: The restriction over making VoIP video and voice calls over 3G network (AT&T and other networks) was removed! And Fring is the first app to exploit it to the fullest. Now you can make VoIP voice and video calls over AT&T’s 3G network. Let it be clear that previously VoIP calls could only be made over your iPod touch’s OR iPhone’s Wi-Fi but not over 3G.

One thing that really sucks is that camera problem. iPhone’s camera is on the back of the phone so you cannot transmit your video but you can always see the other person. Try standing in front of the mirror while making video call 🙂
