If this is going to be the UI of the next iPhone (5?) then it definitely is something that resembles a lot to Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 UI. Not that it’s bad to get inspiration from a great UI design but just that to file a patent in your name claiming it to be your own design is something that is not so peculiar to Apple but yet this latest patent filed by Apple detailing a new UI design for it’s next generation of iDevices (iPhone, iPod touch and iPad) is a testament that WP7’s UI is awesome!

With the new iOS 4.2.1 you can now print directly from your iPhone to a select few printers. Evenimage though it comes in very handy when you want to just click a ‘Print’ button and it connects to your Printer and prints. This feature has been limited to a very few printers and there are good chances that the printer you have did not make that list. Does that mean you cannot print directly from your iPhone? Hotmail has announced the support of Push notifications for it’s Mail, Calendar and Contacts for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad with the support of Exchange ActiveSync. With the support of Exchange ActiveSync, you can now keep your emails, contacts and calendar items updates which means anytime you check, delete or send out a new email, it will be synced with the web version of hotmail in no time. Previously, you had to access the web version of hotmail and syncing it just like you do with your Gmail on iPhone/iPad was not possible.

Apple has just released iOS 4.0.2 update for iPhone which patches the PDF exploit that was used by JailbreakMe.com for jailbreaking iPhone 4. It’s been said that there is absolutely nothing new added in this minor iOS update other then the patch for the exploit. Hulu Plus that was recently released by Hulu for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad was the only way to stream Hulu content (classic and new TV series) on your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad but the problem is its cost. Hulu Plus is expensive and even more for premium Hulu content for which you have to pay monthly subscription fee of $9.99.
