MuscleNerd has done it. Apple iPad gets jailbroken in less then 24 hours of its release. He has just released a video showing that he now has root access to iPad file system meaning that the device is jailbroken now. We previously posted the video by @comex showing un-tethered jailbreak of his iPod touch 3G and he claimed that it will also work fine with iPad and now MuscleNerd has proved it!

@MuscleNerd is an important part of the infamous Dev-Team popular for releasing Jailbreak and Unlock tools for iPod touch, iPhone and now it’s just a matter of time before they update their tools to enable iPad jailbreak.

Just today we showed you how to transform your Windows 7/Vista or XP desktop into a Windows Phone 7 UI and now there’s another interesting development. Woocash-kun has created a Windows Phone 7 theme for his iPhone which can also be put on iPod touch. He has not yet released it and says that “he will only release it when he changes to another theme” but has put up some pictures and a video showing the awesomeness of the entirely new UI design of Windows Phone 7.

George Hotz or better known to us as Geohot has hit back again by making untethered jailbreak a reality. He has not given the tool any name but it has been announced. You will be able to Jailbreak your iPhone 3Gs, iPod touch 2G and 3G (2nd and 3rd Generation) and the Jailbreak will not be tethered meaning that you do not have to Jailbreak every time you do hard reboot.
