It should have been obsolete by now. It has lived it’s life. In an era where an average life of a technology is not more then 5 years, GSM survived a whole 21 years! This in itself is an achievement but nevertheless the very prospect of GSM being broken is scary. There are an estimated 4.3 billion cell-phone in the world out of which 3.5 million use GSM, the reason being that it was the industry standard because of it’s unbreakable security which provided secure conversations to mobile phone users.

Here’s the problem: NYC is demanding better coverage and lesser data congestion. What did AT&T do? Simple. They stopped selling iPhones in NYC. Now that is a quick solution. Problems arose when AT&T users started complaining about data congestion in NYC area. Reports first started coming in of customers unable to buy iPhone from the AT&T’s website when they punched in NYC zip codes.

Nexus One is in all rage right now with leaks and comparison with iPhone popping out almost every day and this will probably continue until it’s officially released on Jan. 5 (ok, it still has to be confirmed). The leaks are all coming from those Google employees who were sent the prototypes around the globe to test and recommend improvements but in a way it’s also how Google intended to build up steam around its first offering of a smart phone. This marketing technique is doing pretty well for Google so far.

What’s special about this JavaScript library is that it comes with Closure Compiler that is a JavaScript Optimizer which compiles the web apps to an optimized and compact JavaScript code that increases performance. It also removes the dead or useless JavaScript code. How about using the Closure Library and having no need to go for the compiler? it decreases one step that can save a lot of time.
