There are several reasons you want to try this: In case you corrupt your OS and want to re install it but don’t have a bootable DVD or USB or maybe you bought a new PC and want to install Windows 7 yourself. Whatever the reason be, the procedure is pretty simple.
What you need:
1) Windows 7 ISO file. (You can buy it from Microsoft’s store OR participate in our free Windows 7 Ultimate giveaway OR if you’re in mood of stealing then torrents are always an option 😉 )
2) Download and install Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool. You can download it here.
Now if you want to create a bootable USB then plug in your USB and make sure it has atleast 4GB free space.
In case you want to create a bootable DVD then simple insert a blank DVD into your DVD Writer.
Here’s how to create bootable USB or DVD with the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool:
1) Open Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool after installing it.
2) In the Source File box, type the name and path of your Windows 7 ISO file.
3) Select USB to create a copy on a USB flash drive or DVD to create a copy on a DVD disk, then click Next.
4) If you are copying the file to a USB flash drive, select your USB device in the dropdown list and click Begin copying. If you are copying the file up to a DVD, click Begin burning.
How simple! It’s merely a 5 minute process if you already have the Windows 7 ISO file.
