Britannica app for iPhone and iPod touch comes With 35,000 articles on everything from history to britannica-appgeography to general knowledge and who knows what, all packed up in really nice interface and handy features not to forget rich graphics, maps and videos sprinkled, the world’s oldest English language encyclopedia is now available on iPhone and iPod touch.

Does that sounded like a sales pitch? Probably because it is. Even though it is a concise version of the complete encyclopedia but it’s still very comprehensive. Features like, “historical events on this day” which tells you about any important event that took place on any given day to historical maps, it’s all about richness of information into one app.

Well, don’t get too excited since it’s not free and costs $24.99 but still it’s worth the price. Here are a few screenshots:
