With the new iOS 4.2.1 you can now print directly from your iPhone to a select few printers. Evenimage though it comes in very handy when you want to just click a ‘Print’ button and it connects to your Printer and prints. This feature has been limited to a very few printers and there are good chances that the printer you have did not make that list. Does that mean you cannot print directly from your iPhone? With this new App this problem is now solved!

With AirPrint Activator for Windows (32bit and 64bit) you can now print to any printer directly from your iPhone. The procedure is very straightforward.

Pre-requisites:

iOS 4.2.1 (latest update, do not upgrade if your iPhone is jailbroken) and iTunes 10.1 (download link)

  1. Download the executable (download link)
  2. Run and install it.
  3. Make sure the Printer installed on your Windows is “Shared”. Go to: “Start –> Devices and Printers”, right-click on your printer and check whether it’s shared or not.
  4. AirPrint Activator must be enabled in the Windows firewall.
