We love rumors specially when they have to do with bubbling gadgetry. Folks at AndroidSPIN have received a build file which, if it’s true, shows that HTC is going to release HTC Scorpion that will surely leave Google Nexus One far far away. With 1.5Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Android 2.2, it’s going to be a geeks dream come true.

Even though it’s just a build file but still the very impact it will have if it’s true is immense. One thing is for sure: HTC is going to release it’s Android phone this year equipped with at least 1.3Ghz processor if not 1.5Ghz but even 1.3Ghz will give an immense performance boost.

The sizzling question will be: Do we really need a smart phone that fast? Google Nexus One with slower processor has already proved to be fast enough and secondly the problem of battery drain will be real and will definitely effect the User Experience if not catered.
