Yes, that true! Firefox, which started back in November 2004 has got such phenomenal success! Firefox download counter turned over a billion figure which is a monumental event for all the users of Firefox that made it happen. It’s not yet clear whether the counter also increments on updates on existing firefox – if that’s the case than actual users would be much less then the huge billion figure.

Today Firefox team released some screenshots of what they think Firefox 4.0 will look like but they claim that these screenshots are merely for brainstorming and getting useful feedback and the actual Firefox 4.0 may not look like this. 

When the exclusive contract limiting the release of Palm Pre only for Sprint customers expire in six months then Verizon will start offering Palm Pre for it’s customers on its network. There has been a widespread feeling that Sprint has not added much value to Pre on many accounts and the news of Pre being offered on Verizon’s network is surely a welcome sign. Verizon customers will surely love this.
