Yes, that true! Firefox, which started back in November 2004 has got sucimageh phenomenal success! Firefox download counter turned over a billion figure which is a monumental event for all the users of Firefoximage that made it happen. It’s not yet clear whether the counter also increments on updates on existing firefox – if that’s the case than actual users would be much less then the huge billion figure.

Mozilla also announced that it will be l aunching OneBillionPlusYou on Monday to commemorate this phenomenal success of one of the best browsers to have hit the market.

The web is a buzz right now with the news of a reported leak photos of Nokia N97 Mini. Reports are that the confirmed leaked photos originate from Vodafone Ireland imagewhich was scheduled to release the phone to it’s subscribers later this year. Maybe the leak w as meant to spur enough interest OR perhaps it was a pure accident will be known once the fog clears out.

Well not exactly Skype but this thing offers most of the features that Skype offer. Youimage can IM (Instant Message) your Skype  friends or anyone who uses Skype and that too from your own Skype account.

This app that we found has some really cool features previously not enabled on Palm Pre. It’s called IM+ for Skype and comes loaded with all the great features you would love to use.

It was nine years ago and 14 million searches performed per day but the coimagempany behind this all was still searching for success. Back then they had 3000 servers (called personal computers then) which handled 14 million search request each day and housed at two different locations: Exodus, San Jose and GlobalCenter, SunnyVale. Google was not the owner of these two Internet Providers which looks quite amazing, now in retrospect.

Yes that’s true. If you are a Windows user and have Flash Player 9 or Flash Player 10 (latest) installed then you could be attacked by something known as drive-by attack in which hackers try to run malicious code embedded on Flash files (.flv) that are embedded even on trust worthy sites.

Something strange is happening over at Firefox I guess. It has not been long beforimagee they launched Firefox 3.5 and it’s update 3.5.1 and then there was news that Firefox 3.7 is due to be released. Today Firefox team released some screenshots of what they think Firefox 4.0 will look like but they claim that these screenshots are merely for brainstorming and getting useful feedback and the actual Firefox 4.0 may not look like this.

When the exclusive contract limiting the release of Palm Pre only for Sprint customers expire in six months then Verizon will start offering Palm Pre for it’s customers on its network. There has been a widespread feeling that Sprint has not added much value to Pre on many accounts and the news of Pre being offered on Verizon’s network is surely a welcome sign. Verizon customers will surely love this.
