The demand for iPad is a lot more then the demand we saw for iPhone in it’s pre release days. The reason being simple that we all want better, comfortable browsing on mobile devices. Even though iPhone’s browsing experience surpasses that of every other mobile phone but the problem is it’s screen size and of course Flash support.
Get ready folks. According to a ‘reliable source’ Apple will start the presale of iPad from as early as 25th February i.e. only 4 days from now! It’s also rumored that Wi-Fi only version will be available for now which is actually great if you are not travelling much. Having said that, it’s also quite possible for 3G version to emerge but that would take a bit longer considering that some network (like AT&T) has to sign the 3G network subscription and distribution deal with Apple.
Maybe the punch line is not so descriptive but what follows here surely is. We reported back in July about how an employee of a company which is manufacturing iPhone 4G committed suicide after accidently losing a prototype of the next iPhone. Another day, another story of how Apple forces it’s suppliers to keep it’s upcoming gadgets secret. Sometimes this enforcement of security includes beating someone really bad.
It hasn’t been a while since Apple announced iPhone SDK 3.2 for the enterprise developers to explore the new features and it was confirmed that this new SDK will be used for developing applications for Apple’s new iPad which will start coming out from the last week of March. Apple has now released Beta 2 of iPhone SDK 3.2 with some minor changes from the previous one.
No it’s not and don’t be fooled by it but it so seems like a real pre-order tool. It’s just an online tool to create a group gadget purchase widget for your online shop and as it turns out, someone has used it to create an Apple iPad pre-order widget with a complete $100 discount over purchasing more then one iPad simultaneously, something called “group purchase”.
The Classics app for iPhone and iPod touch is one of the most downloaded apps. If you are fond of reading classics then this app is for you. It has a classic bookshelf like interface that iBook(for iPad) has adapted now. The app was available for $0.99 on the App store but after Apple has announced the iBook app for iPad, It is now free to download.
